Sandin Vibes (2024)
Video, 4:00
Sandin Vibes is an experimental video work where my digital avatar performs on a virtual Sandin Image Processor inside a glitch-world of speculative flowers and plants. The flora are textured using imagery created through various glitch processes, both analog and digital in origin. Every video pattern in the environment was generated by a real Sandin IP. The avatar's movements were recorded using a motion capture suit while I physically operated the Sandin, then translated directly into the 3D environment and mapped onto my digital self, so the gestures of analog performance become the gestures of a digital one.
